More information about the business Fairways Cattery was established in 1998, and is situated just 10 minutes from Southampton City centre. We are easily accessed from both Portsmouth and the New Forest in around 20 minutes, and are minutes from both the M27 and M3 motorways.

Fairways is a small family run boarding cattery consisting of 31 individual modern well designed heated chalets. The custom built cattery building is built to exceed the chartered institute of enviromental health specifications and is securely enclosed to the rear of 187 West End Road near West End & Bitterne in Southampton. The cattery is surrounded by a spacious tranquil mature landscaped country garden.


We are proud to be the only officialy licensed cattery in Southampton. We are regulated by Southampton City council and we are also veterinary approved. The cattery is open all year round, we are here for you to send your cat on a holiday and to be pampurrred... while you go on yours...

Fairways boarding cattery has been family run by Mrs Tina Turner since 2006. I was one of the first breeders of the beautiful Bombay cat in the 1980's. If you are visiting the cattery you are welcome to see her show winning pedigree Bombays and Burmese cats, sometimes during the year we also have litters of Bombay, Asian and Burmese kittens.

Fairways cattery has 31 immaculate, modern, light & individually heated chalets all enclosed in a secure tranquil country garden setting close to Southampton. We are open 365 days a year, the cattery has been veterinary approved and recomended. From 2006 your cats are fully insured during there stay with us. We are now officially licensed by Southampton City Council for 52 cats to stay at the cattery.

Specialist Services We offer an individual first class service to all of the cats that stay with us and lots of individual care and attention. We have uniquly arranged Insurance for your cat during its stay with us at Fairways Cattery. We supply all of your cats regular cat food at no extra cost. We also offer a collection and delivery service in the Southampton city and surrounding areas.
